The baroque opera Julius Caesar is a large commitment by the Göteborg Opera that has been made possible by a contribution from Stena AB, and on September 13, 2008, baroque opera was played for the first time at the Göteborg Opera.

Julius Caesar is a unique project where the British conductor and baroque expert Laurence Cummings participates together with internationally recommended artists.
